Jacob Brown is a freelance session guitarist around the Atlanta area. Originally from California, Jacob moved to Atlanta to study Guitar at Atlanta Institute of Music, and to continue following his passion as a professional guitar teacher and player. Jacob graduated AIM with High Honors, and was even asked to be a substitute teacher at his school before he had graduated. Jacob is well versed in Jazz, Rock, Blues, Classical, Pop, Metal, as well as Contemporary Praise music. Jacob has done many studio sessions, which include being a regular session guitarist at ICON studios, Uphill Studios, and AIM studios. Some of Jacob’s major musical influences include Guthrie Govan, Charlie Parker, Paul Gilbert, Joe Satriani, Daniel Carson, Steve Marcia, Miles Davis, Tom Quayle, Eddie Van Halen, and Marco Sfogli. Jacob has played with many Pop artists, such as Tori Kelly, Gabbie Rae, Raymond Gregory, and Sharon Mathai. When he doesn’t have a guitar in his hands, Jacob is likely to be found composing music, reading, studying Martial Arts, and watching movies.
