Music Authority Instructor Preston Thompson – Violin: 

Preston is currently earning his Bachelor of the Arts of Music in Violin Performance at Georgia State University.  He is currently the 2nd principal violinist in the Alpharetta Symphony Orchestra.  He previously performed with Emory and Georgia Youth Symphony as well as his high school band.  Preston has previously taught violin and hopes to open new worlds to students who are just discovering violin as well as to help current students connect with their instruments.
