He went on to study with Professor Stephen Hyde and graduated from West Virginia University, Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Music in Applied Violin.
Mark have played with many groups over the years including as Concertmaster for the Pittsburg Youth Symphony, WVU Symphony, Baylor Symphony, and Principal 2nd Gwinnett Symphony. He have taught professionally for over 20 years.
Mark says, "I love passing on the knowledge of playing the violin to others. It is a continuation of tradition which I truly enjoy. I seek to make all my students enjoy music and play to their fullest ability. Each lesson plan is tailored to the abilities of my students providing enough challenge to ensure progress but also allowing for the pure joy of just playing. Even though I am classically trained I love to play and teach all styles of music. I continue to be actively engaged in concertizing, teaching, and exploring electronic violin music fused with Rock, Blues, Bluegrass and EDM."
