Tickets $5.00 Enjoy the Sounds of the Season Music Authority offers a variety of concerts during the holiday season.  Come out, bring your family, and enjoy a afternoon of holiday favorites! The Final Countdown -  Did you know Music Authority hosts a New Year's Eve concert for teens?  It's called The Final Countdown and is held at The Warehouse on Post Road.  Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.  Concessions, t-shirts, a photo booth, live music, and a balloon drop make for a fun evening for teens.  The concert is held on December 31 from 6-10pm. Ddrums  Drum sets, including cymbals, starting at $299. Waiting to sit under your Christmas Tree! Rock Camp Registration Open! Rock Camp makes a great Christmas Gift!  It's education wrapped up in a week full of fun.  Cost $400. Register by December 31 for $50 off. ESP Guitars Looking for a perfect holiday gift?  How about an electric guitar?  We offer guitars at many price ranges for the guitarist on your list! Electrics starting at $199! Careers in Music Workshop December 3, 2016 3pm $10.00 Join Music Authority and professional Dave Stark for an informative workshop: Careers in Music.   Are you a parent that envisions your fifty year old son living at your house because he's a "professional musician?"  You need to be here.  Dave will calm your fears and help your child learn ways to be successful, make a living, and love their job. Please register by November 30, 2016. On vacation this holiday season?   Please be sure to let the front desk know.  Music Authority doesn't close, except for major holidays.  Many students use the holiday breaks for make ups.  Please don't assume we're going to be closed - call at least 24 hours in advance and double check. Music Authority's five bands played for a packed house at Green's Tavern in Flowery Branch on November 13.  It was standing room only in the restaurant that features live music and great food. The opportunity to play gigs like Green's Tavern are part of the Showcase Band and Rock Ensemble programs - designed to give students of all ages the experiences of a gigging band.  Music Authority currently offers two, audition only, students bands - Rise and Eclipse.  There are three Rock Ensemble bands - Unveiled, Transcend, and our adult group - Vintage Cab. Registration for Rock Ensemble Spring 2017 Session is Open! Audition Information for Rise and Eclipse is available now. Request your registration packet today. Classical Department Show Sign Up: "All That Jazz" February 11, 2017 Sign up for the spring Classical Depatment show - All That Jazz.  For solo performers.  Register at the front desk and we'll assign you a song for the show.  There is no cost to participate, but tickets to attend are $5. Spring Show Sign Ups - are open now!  The Spring Show is a rock style concert for Music Authority students.  Sign ups began on November 14 and will continue until all spots are full.  Rehearsals will take place beginning in January. Chase the Sun Show Date: Friday, March 24, 2017 - 7pm @ The Warehouse Have you heard about Music4Chief?   This non-profit raises money to provide at risk teens with musical mentorship and instruments through Music Authority.  Named for former Music Authority Instructor, Justin Cain (we lovingly called him Chief), the non-profit was started this year by Music Authority Family member Pam Sherlock.  Drop your change in the scholarship jar at the register or contact Pam at [email protected].
