Music Authority offers many performance opportunities for our students. From Rock Ensembles and Showcase Bands, Spring and Fall Rock Concert Productions, to the Perfect Blend performance choir, to the best Summer ROCK CAMP programs in the south east..... Rock Ensemble - a band program for the future Rock Star.
Showcase Bands - Music Authority's Beyond and Eclipse. Audition only "road" bands that tour the Atlanta area performing 2-4 shows monthly and are ambassadors to the community.
Perfect Blend - a small performance choir for singers age 16 and up. Auditions are held when a spot opens. Performing a variety of music - from holiday classics, to pop, to gospel.
Rock Camp - the Summer Camp program for those who want the experience of performing on the big stage.
Spring and Fall Rock Concert Productions - school wide rock concerts where you or your child can perform as part of a rock band. Music Authority hosts two large student productions each year. These shows place students in bands, helps to facilitate rehearsals, and then shows it all off in a big performance on a large stage, under the lights, with an audience of hundreds. Students should be confident on their instrument and mature enough to interact with a group of students. Previous show themes include The Silver Screen, Across the Pond, The Journey, Friends in Low Places, and Locals Only.
