Banjo Lessons - meet our instructors
The Music Authority Lessons Program is built on the truth that music is a language. Being able to play your favorite song on your instrument without the ability to understand the language behind it is like being able to recite a phrase in a foreign language without being able to carry on a conversation.
Among other items, students are taught how to read on all strings, play music written in standard notation, communicate with other musicians and members of a band, and understand chord and scale structure. Students are encouraged to play in the band driven Spring and Fall Shows.
A variety of books are utilized and matched to your individual student's needs. Songs are included in the curriculum to help develop and build upon established concepts.
