Music Authority Instructor Jeremiah Meadows – Piano and Voice:
Jeremiah Meadows is from Woodstock, GA. Initially he began learning piano for fun, mostly only playing pieces from movie and video game soundtracks he liked. Eventually he wanted to learn more, and now holds a Bachelor's Degree in music education from Truett McConnell University where his primary instrument was piano, and secondary was voice. In college he performed with the jazz band, wind ensemble, and chorale, as well as in many solo recitals. His favorite era of music for piano is the Romantic era, and his favorite style to sing is musical theater. He found his passion for teaching while interning with his youth pastor the summer after his senior year of high school. Since then he has had many student teaching placements among middle and high school choirs, as well as teaching piano as a teaching assistant at Stephen F. Austin University. His favorite parts of teaching are helping students through things he struggled with as well, and hearing long-term progress after some time with the same students. |
