Music Authority Instructor Mitchell Auger - Voice, Saxophone, and Piano:
Why do you like teaching? I love seeing those moments when a student finally breaks through something that is challenging them. Those light-bulb moments are really inspiring to both teacher and student.
What makes you excited about playing music? The collaboration between singer and pianist is the greatest because you get to make music together. At that point it’s not just about you but the ensemble. Being able to perform great pieces with people is what music is all about.
What’s your favorite food? All kinds of food are my favorite, but I will never turn down Chinese food!
Where is your hometown? Alpharetta, Georgia
